Give just £2 per month and the Rifles Regimental Charities will receive at no extra cost a total £2.50 via gift aided donations through our charitable giving site at

www.justgiving.com/trrt.

Your donation will help to support;

Benevolence  ( 51% of income) – Through “The Rifles Benevolent Trust” (Charity number  1119071) All members of the serving Regiment, Forming Regiments and Antecedent Regiments as well as their dependants are eligible to apply for assistance. In 2008 the charity dealt with 815 individual case applications and funded 729 at an average grant of £426.77, making a total expenditure for the year of £311,111.74. In 2009 we have so far had a 20% increase in applications. In addition the charity gives general support, via Battalions, to the families of servicemen deployed upon operations.

The Regiment  (and its serving personnel - 49% of income) – Through “The Rifles Regimental Trust” (Charity number 1119061) which looks after the Regiment on a day to day basis including support grants to Battalions; the support of serving personnel injured on operations and evacuated to Selly Oak Hospital; support to families of Riflemen killed in action for the additional cost of the presence of Regimental personnel at funerals and memorial events. And much, much more!

The charities are run and controlled by the Regimental Trustees who are volunteers and the day to day running is invested in RHQ The Rifles by the MOD employed staff. The running costs of the charity are therefore minimal (2 ½% in 2008) and your donation will go directly to supporting the Regiment, its personnel and those in need.

Our target is for a minimum of 2,000 contributors to raise £4000 (£5000 with gift aid) per month.
