For those of you that know him Peter Uden had a serious fall early on Thursday morning and broke his hip. In normal terms this would not present a life threatening injury but as some of you will know Peter has had various health problems in the last few years, the most recent being to do with his heart and the necessary operation to repair the damaged hip has resulted in him becoming VSI.

He is at the moment in IC at Winchester hospital and only conscious for short periods. I am checking in with Joyce every evening  As I learn more I will add to this posting so check here for daily updates on his condition. Hopefully in a few days he will have recovered enough to receive visitors but I will keep you posted on that.

Friday 27th

Peter has now regained consciousness and is recovering well. Joyce tells us that Billy Huges will be visiting him tonight.

Saturday 28th

It is with great sadness I announce that Peter died at 4.50am this morning following the onset of severe breathing difficulties during the night. Please see the In Memorium board for all further bulletins.
