John Kidd is a very good artist who has had his work signed by Andy Mcnab and auctioned for the benefit of The Rifles charities. Please see below a reduced size copy of the original work of The Rifles Girl that bought in £400 on auction.
John Kidd writes:
If anyone is interested, I run a stall at the Chatham Docks Military Fair where I sell prints, clocks and other items with my pinups on, all money raised is used to pay for boxes of prints to be sent out to the troops in Afghanistan, and I can post out prints if necessary. I am more than happy to make the image files available to the association if they want to reproduce them in some way to raise more funds (mugs have been one suggestion) There will also be another Rifles girl later in the year featuring the new UBAC shirt in the strange turquoise colour that was in the press last year when 2 Rifles was forced to dye them for use in the Green Zone.
I have set up a myspace page for now and have a dedicated website where you can see more samples of my work. The web address is; www.myspace.com/militarypinups and my email address is; militarypinups@blueyonder.co.uk
Thanks for all your help
