For those of you that have not already noticed we have someone on here who thinks it’s funny to post various combinations of letters and numbers on the board from different IP addresses either as additions to existing posts or separately.
This is not clever or even very difficult to do but it does take a lot of time to clear up. I have a feeling that the individual concerned repeatedly uses a meaningless jumble of letters and numbers to disguise the fact that he cannot spell anyway and I already know that he has some IT skills which would be better employed in support of the Association than spent hindering it.
The `In the news` Bulletin Board has been running unhindered for the last six years and in the interests of encouraging sensible contributions from those who read the information on it we have kept it simple to use without the need for individual registration or message vetting prior to posting. However, as this stupidity has continued unabated for a further three weeks I have closed all threads to prevent further repetitions. Unfortunately, this means that anyone wishing to post a reply to any thread will need to send it to Mark Adams at greenjackets_2001@yahoo.co.uk and he will post it for you.
Hopefully, this will only be a temporary measure but it will continue until the idiot has gone away!
