Background. ORG is a leading provider of recruitment services and management solutions for companies in the UK, Europe and throughout the world. The priority for the Company’s business is to search, select and recruit first class professionals with the experience, qualifications and the capability to meet clients’ requirements. The Rifles recruit and train first class professionals with the motivation, determination and commitment to succeed. Riflemen leaving the Army are in demand; this project helps our Riflemen find suitable civilian employment on leaving the Army. This project extends the commitment and support to our Riflemen as the only Regiment actively helping our personnel transition to civilian life. The project will also allow ex Riflemen to advertise jobs and actively recruit ex Riflemen.
Methodology.
Riflemen
·The ORG home webpage, which can be viewed at the following link http://www.omegaresource.co.uk will have a button to link to the Rifles only section of the website. Screen shots attached.
·Riflemen then have to register by completing drop down boxes and uploading a CV. This will allow an Omega consultant to analyse their skills before contacting them to discuss their skills and potential employment opportunities. There is NO cost for this service.
·Riflemen who want to improve their CV and job search skills (writing covering letters, networking, interview technique etc) have the option to attend a one day workshop delivered by Omega Consultancy Services. This will be delivered in Rifles’ locations (Chepstow, Bulford, Exeter, Reading and a N England location (TBC)) subject to demand; a min of 8 personnel are required to run a workshop. There is a cost for this service of £125 per person. Omega is in the process of working to achieve preferred supplier status with the CTP; this will allow Riflemen to use their IRTC. Employers
·As above; on the dedicated Rifles page employers have the opportunity to provide job details or to request a call back from an Omega consultant.
·Job opportunities will then be matched against registered Riflemen looking for work.
