This year’s Christmas card, titled Sick going to Balaclava, is one of 16 watercolours on display in the Museum depicting scenes from the Crimean War (1854-56) attributed to Major the Hon. H.H. Clifford (later Major-General Sir Henry Clifford VC KCMG CB) (1826-63).
Lieutenant the Hon. H.H. Clifford of The Rifle Brigade was awarded a Victoria Cross for conspicuous courage at the Battle of Inkerman on 5 November 1854.
The cards are high quality, laminated, size: 165 x 115 mms (6½ x 4½ inches)
