CARE FOR CASUALTIES UPDATE 14 JAN 2014

“As Care for Casualties looks forward to 2014 and the final full year of our service in Afghanistan, please put the following three dates in your diary. 

>> Saturday, 22nd February 2014:  Rifles Race Day at Chepstow Races

>> 7.00pm Thursday, 13th March 2014:  Mrs Moneypenny’s stand-up comedy show 56 Davies Street, London

>> 10th – 15th September The Rifles’ World War 1 Commemorative Bike Ride

We will also have a big Race Day at Goodwood, thanks to the generosity of the Duke of Richmond and dates for this will follow in due course. 

Fundraising to support our casualties is becoming much tougher, so please continue your support.  Every penny raised counts.  You will find our latest news in our latest newsletter which is available to ready via the Care for Casualties website, www.careforcasualties.org.uk .  Click on the icon on the top of the right-hand column on the homepage.”

 Mrs Moneypenny’s stand-up comedy show, lots of canapés and fizz.  7:00pm, The London Club, 56 Davies Street W1K 5HRMrs Moneypenny has written a weekly column for The Financial Times for the past 14 years.  She has also presented 6 series of Chanel 4’s “Superscrimpers” and now she is bringing her Edinburgh Fringe comedy show to The Rifles’ London Club to support Care for Casualties.  A perfect opportunity to entertain friends and clients within the exclusive setting of The Rifles’ London Club.  SAVE THE DATE and more details to follow shortly.

10th – 15th SEP 2014 RIFLES WW1 COMMEMORATIVE BIKE RIDE

Join members of The Rifles’ Regimental Family, our bereaved, wounded, those serving and veterans along with other supporters, raising money for Care for Casualties as well as appreciating some of the history of the First World War whilst honouring the sacrifice made by our forebears.
