2 RIFLES HOMECOMING PARADE LIVERPOOL 31 OCT 09 STARTING 1100 HOURS

There will be a 2RIFLES Homecoming Parade in Liverpool on Sat 31 Oct to mark the Battalion’s return from operations in Afghanistan this Summer.

 

The programme will be:

 

1030  2RIFLES will form up on St George’s Hall Plateau.

1100  Inspection by the Lord Lieutenant and Lord Mayor.  Wreaths laid at The Cenotaph in honour of those lost by 2RIFLES.

1130 2RIFLES march off St George’s Hall Plateau, turn right into Lime Street, then Ranelgh St, Church St, Lord St, castle St, Exchange St West and Exchange Flags.

1150  Marching Troops arrive at the Town Hall.

1200  All ranks Civic Reception (BY invitation only).

 

You are encouraged to attend where possible to show your support for the Battalion after its extremely testing tour in Afghanistan.
