I notified members a week or so ago that Kevin was terminally ill and in the Royal Free Hosptal, Hampstead in North London.  Kevin's daughter Angela called to let me know that Kevin had made some progress and was released from the Intensive Care Unit to go home, but is still terminally ill.  I will keep members informed.

On Saturday morning Angela telephoned me to tell me that Kevin's brother Bob had died of lung cancer.  As soon as I have further details I will post them.  Bob was known to many of you and was in the Batalion Boxing Team. I can be contacted via the KRRC Association at krrcassn@hotmail.com

I would like to say a big thank you for all you kind words. My Father Bob Carpenter ( Chippy). Was very proud to have served with 1RGJ. His Children were vere proud of him to.
Our thoughts are with Uncle Kevin.
