"Rifleman, a front line Life" is a word by word account of growing up in the slums of Kings Cross, joining the RB on his 18th birthday in October 1937 and right the way through the war to 1943 with 2nd RB untill he rebadged into 10th para and went into Italy and then on to Northern Europe.
